Sparkler season
Around this time of the year, everyone brings out their sparklers, which means Christmas is almost here. Sparklers are one of my favourite things in the world. They are just so magical and beautiful. They are great to put in Christmas trees (although very dangerous), they look good in pictures too)
With sparklers you can also take some really great long-exposure photos. You will need a tripod for doing this, because the slightest movement will be visible in the picture. The person in the photo needs to be as still as possible. 😄
⬆ Camera settings: ISO: 100, Aperture: the lower, the better (I used f4 for these pictures), Exposure: 15 seconds.
All you need to do to is to move the sparkler up and down or in whatever direction you desire around the subject.
You can also write or draw with sparklers too:
⬆ Camera settings: ISO: 100, Aperture: 7.1, Exposure: 5 seconds for the shapes, and 10 for the words.
With writing something, you will need to flip the picture in order to read it the right way.
